One of the most essential elements of my success came directly from my amazing editor and scholar sister, Dr. Marie Sonnet. I initially met Marie when she was presenting her book on resilience and I knew that if I had half a brain, I would have her on my team. I have spent more time with Marie than anyone else at Fielding and I attribute much of my success to her. She not only assured that all my T’s were crossed and commas were placed but she repeatedly read my work to check for flow, consistency, and logic. When I disappeared (which happened more often than not these past few years), Marie made sure I was well, and that I understood the value of resilience.
